Much Damage By Fire In Bulk Store
WELLINGTON, Jan. 18. Several thousand pounds worth of damage was done by a fire which gutted the bulk- store of Lewis's drapery and fur^ishing business,- Higli Street, Lower H'uft, late Saturday uight. The buildiug which was a for-mer Army hut was - situated beliind tlie business premises faciii"' Iligli Street, a few doors along from Lewis's retail store.
