mT--- « WELLINGTON, Jan. 19. . Vendors in the first Wellington wool sale last " month received £1,050,000, or £35 16s 6d a bale, an all-time record for this centre. This works out at- a fraetion over two shillings a pound, compared with averages of £27 8s 4d a bale and I9.349d a pound in the corresponding sale last year. . Catalogues for the second Wellington sale on February 9 and 12, have closed. Approjtimately 36,000 bales are to be offered. i
