Federal Judge John Bright, todav dismissed a plagiarism suit against the Knglish author Daphne du' Maurier which alleged that tlie best selling novel ' ' Rebecca " was based partly on works by the late Edw>na Levin Macdonald. Ile found that Miss du Maurier never had access to the two works oi' Arrs. Macdonahl "Blind Windows" and "I PJnnned To Munlor Aly Hnsband,' and added: "There is nothing in Miss du Maurier 's teUiniony which j seemed to me false or iniprobuble and I accejit it. "
