New Plymouth, Taihape, Stratford, Wanganui, Levin* 'Masferto.n, Napi.ec and Hawera all report faifly severe shocks. • At New Plymouth occnpants of houses and shops rushed iqto fhe streets. -Several chimney pots toppled at Taihape.
