WELLIN GTON, ,J an. 14. Dave Sands, the Australian middle and ligh-t heavy weight boxing ehampion, will corne to New Zealand under contract to the Hutt Valley Bpxing Association. This avus announced b> the chairman, Mr. L. Stewart. Sands, accompanied by his manager, Mr. T. Maguire, will leave Australia at tlie end of February.. It is considered al most certain that oue of the oppquentE of Sands in New Zealand will be Don Mullett, New Zealand heavyweighi ehampion, though Saiids Avouid be con ceding considerable weight. Willie Jones, the American negrt boxer against whorn Adelaide Stadiums Ltd. last montli secured an interim injunetion restraining him from taking part in any contest or exhibition savf under the jurisdiction of Adelaidi Stadiums Ltd. and against an opponen? selected by them, has engaged Mr C. A. L. Treadwell as counsel to ascer tain what steps are necessary to ltave tlie injunction dissolved.
