Butler who is one of the leacl- i I ing members of the Conservative Party I and a forrner Minister of Education. I Alr. Gourtauld left Mr. Butler a ireehold property in Gloucestersiure aua his share in a farming -business carrieu on with Yiscount Lpe of Fareiiam who died last July. Alrs. Butler is as keen a politieian as h'er husband and it was she who first suggested he should enter politics. He was elected for Salfron Walden three years after they married.
