BOY SAVED BY ACTION OF WATERSIDERS
! EEISBASE, Jan. 14. When an 11-year-old boy was trappea between a ship and a wharf, 200 vvatersiders put their shoulders to the ship's side and pusheil lier away from the wharf, thus saving the boy from being erushed to death. Among Ihe watersiders was the boy's father. The boy was bringing his father a bottle of medieino fvhen the whari gatekeeper refused him admittance. Tlie Jad climbed under the wharf anp tried to scramble up between the wharf timbers and the side of the ROOO-ton freighier Gloucester. The ship swung in with the swell and caughl the boy, who scream?d for help. Water siders 'who were sheltering from- tht rain ran quiekly 'and the boy wa# reseued uriinjured.
