"ALL HAVE SINNED." SAYS MR. GANDHI

Indian Cabinet Aiiiusters and others yesterday tried to get Mr. Gandhi to discontinue his fast but he is aduinant, says The Times Delhi correspondent, and at his customary prayer meeting in Ihe evening he repeated that he was wilJing to do or die in the cause of Iiindu-Moslem /aniity. In a homily against comnmnal intolerance, he said that neitlier Hindus, Sikhs nor Moslems wero wholly blaiueless. All had sinned and he wished to take their sins upon iiimself. Ile had undertaken this fast not to please or annoy anyone liut in respon.se to his t'onscienee, and it would md when he saw Hindus, Bikhs and Moslems mixing lilce brothers withont fear. "If I do not survive this fast/' he added, "the responsibility will be mine.
