Personal Mrs. Harpld Searancke and daughter, of Rangiotu, are at present the guests of Mrs. T. Walker, of Manuka Street, Tasman Beach. . Mr. W. Cootes is at present in the ' Palmerston North Hospital where he recently underwent an operation. Plis condition is still :serious. 7 Mr. Wong Ham, who died at the Palmerston "North Hospital, was buried-at Otaki yesterday. The deceaged, who was well-known Locally, was 63 "years of age. The Rev. W. B. Fickering conducted fche service and many flne floral tributes were sent.t I Diamond Jubilee The diamond jubilee of Manakau State School will be held at -an early date and a meeting to arrange. the .function, will be held on January 21.
