TO BE SETTLED WITHOUT RESORT TO WAR
NEW YORK, Jan. 12. Pakistan 's Foreign Minister, Mr. Zafrullah Khan, and lndia 's Primr Minister, Mr. Nehra, today cabled assttrances to TJnited Nations that theywill settle the dispute over Kashmir without resorting to war. The cahles were in response to a request from the Seeurity Cottncil which will meet later this week to resume the debate on lndia ' s. charge that Pakistan is aiding the raiders in Kashmir and which had asked that bothftsides exercise restraint until the Council can settle the case.
