^ ^ CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRIES EXTENDED The question of having show classes at the Horowhenua ram fair, which is to be held on Feferuary 1, was fully diseussed at a meeting of the ram fair committee on Monday night. The- proposal was put forward: by thF chairman, Mr, A." R. MacFarlane, • the g'eneral opinion being, however, that the judging - would hold up the running cf the fair. • As an alternative it was decided . that all ven'dors with 12 or more rams should be entitled to have one pen of three offered first in the sale. The ballot for first place .will take place two days after the closing of the entries. The closing date for all entries has been extended to Friday, January 23.
