NO RADAR FOR RUSSIANS
^ Received Sunday, 8.10 p.m. WASHINGTOK, Jan. 10. The State Department clamped down on the export of war surplus radar equipment tonight after Representative Ross Rizley (Republican, Oklahoma) protested that some such supplies were going to Russia. The National Munitions Control Board announced that radar equipment from now on would be classed as arms and could not be exported without a licence. Surplus radar of types deelared by the Army to be non-secret previously, has been sold without restrietion by the War Assets Administration and could be exported without control. Tonight 's decision is reported to mean that war usuable radar in future will not be shipped to Russia or to Russian satellite eountries.
