Daul did not complicate the vay of Salvation when answering one' Pnilippian gaoler in Acts 16, 31. But said oeiieve in the i-.ord Jesus Christ and tnou shait be saved.' tteaaer, aceept the wonderful provision Crod nas made for you, wnich ts cnrist, and thank him for it. The ioilowing is a suggestion of a simple prayer of tiianksgiving, and if it is reany the expression of the heart, will be the turning point (foi neaven) in your liie s experience. Loving heavenly Father, I ao thank you ior tne gift of your beioved sor uhat aied on the Cross for me a guiity smner, and I do accept the nord Jesus Ohrist as my Savious, Thank you Lord. Amen. BIBLE TRUTH CONCERN1NG SALVATION The common and very seif-pleas-ing ldeas tnat Salvation' is a very easy tning to obtain, mereiy by a simple assertion "I believe;" and then could • never be lost "once saved always saved," regardless of no change of charaqter, actions, habits, et,e.; often ■ receive rude shocks from a study of the Bible' use of 'Tittie words." Take "Watch' ' for example, wny should a person have to "watch" anything themaelves, their words or doings, etc., if they were "saved for ever" by saying "I believe?" But a littie study of the Bible use of "watch'' will show its importance, and consequently prove tne aoove ideas are totally wrong and ruinous; and' the very things that will prevent the Salvation of the thinKer thereof.
