FEILDING STOCK MARKET
GOOD SALE FOR SIORE LAMBS For the opening live stoek sale of the new year at Feilding yesterday buyers had a selection of some 36,000 s'tore lapibs' to pick.over and despite the prevailing dry weather conditions the busxuesa was conducted on a fairly strong tone. ' Actuaiiy the' values operating had a close relationship to present fat tamb schedules and vendors niust have been well satislied with the realiaation.-,. The lambs were in excellent order and the quality generally -was very good. There was practieally no apprecialxie change in fat sheep pricea and as far as the other sections were concerned, business was very quiet. Fat Sheep The entry of fat sheep numlxered upproximately 300- which, curiousiy cnough, correspondexl with the yarding at the lirst sale of 1947.
