PICCOLO, who finished third in the Peter Moore Handicap at Sydney last week, is improving with every race, and it is likely that he will fulfil the promise which he displayed late last season. A capable performer over 1¼ miles, Piccolo defeated such horses in New Zealand as Longsword, Langue d'Or and many others.
