BITTER FIGHTING IN KASHMIR
Reeeived Fri'day, 10.35 a.m. NEW DELHI, Jsm. 8. Indian Army troops counterattacked in the Naoshera area, tvhere several thousand armed and uniformed raiders attacked last Monday. The . Defence ' Ministry claimed '"hat the' Indian Army had captyrcd some hills after bitter fighting. The raiders havl been reinforced during the night with 5Q . v'ebicles, 1 whieh aireraft strafed, destroying 17 and damaging eight. The Defence Ministry added that the Indian troops inflicted heavy casualties. The fighting continues.
