MASTERTON, Jan, 6. The continued dry spell in the Wairarapa is seriously affecting the dairy industr-y, and the supifiy^of milk to the factories is falling'off. Though it has been a good season for the commercial small fruits in the Greytown district, gardens generally in the Wairarapa are drying up and peas, cabbages and other crops are in many .cases ruined. Heavy windl at times have stripped plum, pear and apple trees in many parts of the district.
