Charles, of Wood-1 ville, are the guests of Mr. and Mrs, Whitelaw, Rangiuru Beach...' Among the visitors to Otaki are Mr. and Mrs. George Dudley, of Wellington. The former- was for some time a resident of Otaki Gorge. ( .. The many friends of Mrs. E. Pothan, of Tasman Beach, will be pleased to hear that she is reeovering from her serious indisposition. Misses L. and B. Young,* of Christchurch, are spehding a holiday with General and Mrs. R. Young, Tasman Beach. . The vicar of the Otaki PariDchial District, Canon H. E. K. Fry, is exchanging 'duties with the vicar of St. ' Mark's , Parish, Wellington, Canon N. F.'E. Robertshawe, from January 7 until January 28. Canon and Mrs. Robertshawe, with their family, "will be in residence at All Saints' vicar age. Overseas Bowler's Visit. The visiting bowlers from British Columbia were in Otaki yesterday in tlie course of a sightseeing tour from Wellington. The visitors were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ai D. Webster at their resi'dence for luncheon. Assaulted And Robbed An ex-resident of Otaki, now in Sydney, was ^ssaulted and robbed of his belongmgs during the holiday season. By a blow on the head he was rendered unconscious, waking up to find himself in hospital. He also suft'ered a black eye an-d injuries to his knee and ankle. His wallet and money were found to be missing.
