Wilnesses said tliere was iii blinding flash before the p'lane disappeared. Xo sign of wreekage has been sighted from ihe air. Although the plaee wliere the crash a])parentlv oecurred is ori'lv about 10 miles froin A nehorage, ground parfies have not yet reaehed it beiause tliey have to eut 50 miles north llirough a roa'dloss snow eovered wilderness before reaehing a fiegoliabie route. The plaue was rriaking a routine weather observation fiight.
