FAVOURITE WINS CUP AT AUCKLAND

AUCKLAND, Dec. 29. The seeond day of the Auckland Racing Club 's summer meeting was held today in line weather. The track was fast and the totalisator handled £182,052 compared with £180,197 10s for the second day last year, an increase of £1S54 10s. The total for the two days was £171,93-1 10s as against £457,910 last • year, an increase of £14,034 10s. After the running of the King's Plate. in ijiquiry was held by the stewards into alleged interference by Sleepy Fox with Majesty and Great Trek at the five farlongs post.
