The party was mtit by ofticials of the Auckland Bowling Centre ainf lc-aves fo/ Wellington by train tonight. One of tlie partv, Capfain G. Appelbe, became ill with a heart complaint oi\ the veyage. He will.convalesce with a relative iri Auckland". He hopeS to join flie party later -in the tour. The feam will not cornpete i ti matches against New Zealand or provincial feams, but Will take part in the Wellington New Yeftr paifs tournament an/l the Domiiiion chainpionsbips at Duiiu din next month. They wili probably cdnrpete at Auckland, Whangafei and pe* haps other. places also.
