The condition of Viscoupt Hinchingbrooke, the inember of the Hoijse of Commons for South Dorset, who is a patient in an Auckland hospital, was reported last night to be improving slowly and to be satisfactory. Viscount Hinchingbrooke has been in hospital since his arrival in Auckland On December 16 and underwent a serious operation last Wednesday. Amohg passengers who arrived in the Rimutaka at Wellington yesterday, was Dr. L. J. Comrie, a New Zealander who went to Bfitain 30 years ago and is well khown there for his achievements as a mathematician. The firm of which Dr. Comrie is head, played an important part in plotting aerial attacks on German targets auring the war. Dr. Comrie is making a combined business and pleasure visit to N6W Zealand.
