LEVIN BOY AWARDED BURSARY
Peter V. Goodwin, a son of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Goodwin, of Levin, has received advice from the Department of Education that he has been award'ed a post primary teacher's bursary. Competition for these bursaries was very keen, there being over 600 applicants for the 40 awards covering New Zealand. Peter is a former pupil of Horowhenua College. . He is at present attending Victoria University College and this year secured passts in four. subjects of his B;A. degree. .
