Received Sunday, 8.5Q p.m, ADELAIDE, Dec. 27. The outbreak of infantile paralysis in South Australia must now be Tegarded as a small epidemic, said Dr. A. R. "Soutfiwood, chairman of the Adelaide Central Board of Health. Eortynine cases have been reported since Sentem ber 1." Last year (36 cases were

reported. Three deaths occurred during the week, hringing the totai deathroil since September 10 to eight. Children are being kept out of the eity because of the epidemic threat.
