Althougk a further death from liifan tile paralysis has occurred at the Auek land liospital the total number of fatal cases in Auckland remains at severn The Medical Ohicer of Health at Auckland (Dr. L. S. Davis) said that the death of a boy aged 12 from Wiri reported oxi.Priday jtad be.en inclu.ded in the list of fatal cases. Tests, however, had shown that the boy 's death was not caused by poliomt'ehtis. The latesi death was of a married man, aged 29, from the eity area. Four- snspected cases, tw.o of which haye been proved to be positive, were admitted to the Auckland liospital during the weekend.
