Provisionally it has heen decided to call the profcnimme "progress report " and it will he designed to reach the largest audience the B.B.C. has ever attempted to eneonipass with oue programine. It will he given the hest available listoning timo on the llome and all overseas services and all front rank B.B.C. eomrnemators and script writers will he used in developing it. Former B.B.C. war correspondents will he sent out to eover tlie produetion front as they did the war fronts and special liaison' ollicers will he appointed in all districts of the United Kingdom to keeji the B.B.C. hriefed 011 local developments. Tlie programme will begin on .lanuary 20 and continue for three motu lis.
