He warned that an effective systeni of world atomic energy .control may be impossible \xnless the United States alters its position in United Nations. (Mr. Gromyko denied that the Soviet supported the partition of palestine to get Red Army forces into the .Middle East. He said the Soviet had no direct uiaterial or other interest in Palestine except as a member of "United Nations. (Mr. Gromyko reiterated the Soviet as inteivtion to boycott the "Little As- , senibly", the Balkans Commission and Korean Independenee Commission.
