AUCKLAND, Dec. 14. Sister Elizabeth Kenny, the discoverer of the method ot irenting- ju fantile paralysis which has been a|> proved by the Ndtional Foumlation o'i infantile Paralysis in the United Xtates and by the United Xtates Aledieai Association, arrivod in A^ick,Iand from Xydney by flymgboat, Xister Kenny, who will leave for America on December 23, stated that she had come 10 present the newer iindings concern ing the disease and its treatment lo iloctors and Health Department ollicers if they desirecl them. Sister Kenny said she understood meetings with the British Aledical Association had been a'rranged in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch, but she t'elt that so raueh (lying would be a waste of time. Accordingly she had sent a telegram to the Prime. Alinsiter (Alr. Fraser) suggesting oue conference with members of the medical profession and officers of the Health Depart' inent. They would there have an opportunitv of investigatlng her methods wjiich she would explain by the use of films, by practical demonstration and by research in reports. This material x'ister Kenny had already presented to 14 other countries. "1 am satislied there is a contribution we can make from the Alinne apqlis lnstitute, " said Xister Kenny. ' ' 1 have presented a new eoncept of the disease which has been proved electro-biographically and pathologically. I will let the doctors and health officers form their own judgment by investigation before anything else is done at all . If they do not desire a conference, well/it does not matter. "
