GISBORNE, Dec. 11. Electing to be dealt with by a jury, Pokira Hami Jones, aged 37, a carpentry trainee, was committed by Mr. E. L. Walton, S.M., for. trial in the Supreme Court on a charge of being found at night in a house at Matawhero. Evidence was given that a householder was awakened at 3.30 a.m. by a man striking a match outside his bedroom door. He caught the intruder, who was in stocking feet, attempting to escape by a door.
