IRON LUNGS FROM AUSTRALIA

Received Wednesday, 12.17 a.m. SYDNEY, Dec. 10. Iron lungs to be used in the light against the infantile paralysis epidemie will be sent to New Zealand from Sydney in the Wahine tomorrow. The New Zealand Government sent an urgent request to the New Zealand Trade Commissioner, Air. W. Tavlor, for three iron lungs. Hr. Taylor said toni^ght he had obtained two from the " Royal Priuee Henry Hospital and hoped negotiations with another hospital would result in the third being sent. A spokesman for .the Prince Henry Hospital said the hospital was normally equipped with six iron lungs. Because oi' New Zealand's desperate need it had been agreed lo part with two of them 011 eondition they were replaepd qs soqu as possible.
