WELLINGTON, Dec. 10. A ban on inter-island travel for persons up to the age of sixteen will be imposed from midnight on Saturday. Announcing this today, the Minister of Health, Miss Howard, said that if it was necessary to impose further restrictions on movement and congregations the Government would have no hesitation in the interests of the well being of the people in taking drastic steps.
