PARAPARAUMU DEFEAT, OTAKI Enjoyable games were playsd 011 the Paraparaumu Club's green at the weekend for the Mexted Cup. The green proved in good order, reflecting credit on the caretaker, Mr. White Scott. Four rinks made the journey, but only one emerged victorious, while points against the visitors were 80 to 67. At the conclusion of the day's play, Mr. Henderson, president of the Paraparaumu Club, said that the visit of the Otaki players was appreciated, and he hoped that such enjoyable games would often result. Mr. W. Wilson, president of the Otaki Club, congratulated Paraparaumu on its win, and said his clubmates had thoroughly enjoyed the 'day's outing and would look forward to further games.
