Received Tuesday, 10.10 a.m. LOlNDON, Dec. 8. Mr. Marshali has announced that on his initiative he, Mr. Bevin and M. Bidault field a meeting at tfie United fcjtates Lmbassy last nigfit. The British United Press says that officials are most secretive about what the Ministers discussed, but there is little doubt that they decided upon tactics to. try and force some decision from M. Molotov. Reutefi's diplomatic correspondent says that the chief purpose of the meeting was to determine the attitude of the three- Western powers to a proposal which M. Molotov is expected to make that 17 delegates from the German "Peace Congress," which met yesterday in Berlin, should be invited to London to present Germany's, case. Usually reliable British sources said the meeting did not attempt to plan "showdown" tactics at the meetings of the Foreign Ministers this week.
