CAR'S PLUNGE OVER CLIFF

Plunging in a suiall sedau ear over a 1 flli feet (dilf at Orakei, the Auckland inariue suburb, and crashing on to Waterfront Road today, a woinan driver received injuries from which she died after admission to hos])ital. She was Mrs. Gladvs Lcwis, aged 30, of Dudley A venue, Mission Bay. »She was driving alone about 10.30 a.m. when the ear erashed tlirough a wooden railing on Parakai Drive. A yaehtsman saw the ear plunge.ever the clifT, somersault and erash on Waterfront Road As the ear somersaulted ihe driver was tlnown tlirough the left side door. Slie had extensive injuries ineluding a fractured spine.
