Ilis was the last case to be tried of those arising from the Canadian spy ring exposure which resulted from statements by a fornier eodo clerk in the Russian Embassv ai Ottawa. The judge commitled Boyer to cu-, tody until Tuesdav when presumablv he wili pass sentence. Defence counsel announeed that he would appeal against tlie conviction.
