WELLINGTON, Dec. 4. The magnifieent tAtal of £S9,238 ror two rnonths up to Noveinber 30, of the
1947-4S Health Stamp eampaign, had been aehieved, said the PostmasterGeneral, Mr. Hackett, today. The eomplete results for previous campaigns are: 1944-45, £64,428; 1945-46, £74, 902, and last year £90,386. "This is a vemarkable figure, " said Mr. Hackett, "and gives every indication that the national objective of £100,000 will be aehieved and the eampaign completed even before the end of this montli. " In cfistriet saies up to November 30, Wellington led with £13,652. Dunedin was next with £12,296, then Christchurch £11,283 and Auckland £9534. Overseas saies at the stamps branch of the G.P.O. amounted to £9196.
