V suspeeted case was reported in the Wellington- Wanganui - Hawke's Hav health district. The case was an- IS months old child from Horopito who has been admitted to the Wanganui hospital. . . The 40 cases in the Auckland Hospital. have aggravated the shortage of nursing staff. The medieal superintendent, Dr. .T. W» Ctaven, said "the hospital was sadly in need of trained; rturses to meet the emergency. A good response had followed an nppeal for volunteers but among them there were few trained nurses.
