GISBORNE, Dec. 4.

The condition of the 'Gisborne patient admitted to hospital on Saturday with the symptoms of infantile paralysis is reported to be improving. Officially it is regarded as a suspect only and Health Department officeTS' conclude from that fact that no paralysis has occurred. It may never move out of the suspect category. The Health Department has received no report. from the hospital' superintendent which justifies the patient being regarded as other than a suspect.
