OBITUARY

MR. FREDERICK A. SMALL

A further bereavement was suffered by the Small family on Monday when Frederick Arthur, eldest son of Mr. F. Small and the late Mrs. Small collapsed and died at his work. The late Mr. Small, who was 46 years of age, spent his school days„ and early married life in Shannon, moving to Martinborough in 1924. His wife, to whom he was devoted, passed away six months ago and on that account, early in October, he and his two sons, Fred and Earl, moved to Hastings to make their home with his only daughter Ruth (Mrs. Shucker) . The funeral was held at Martinborough cemetery, the Church of England .minister condueting the service. A wealth of sympathy will be extended to his sons, daughter, gra'ndson, father and .brothers and sisters in their loss.
