Rumours of a parajysis suspect in Weraroa and. two in Levin were eurrent in Levin today. Refuting these suggestions, the distriet health inspector, Mr. W. J. Guinan, said that no such cases or suspected cases had been referred tq him; nor had he heard of any in his distriet. Should. a positive ease occur or any person be brought under observation, be would be informed. As yet the distriet was still clear of the disease.
