Fire trapped a sleeping family of 1'' including 11 children, in the upper fioor of a three-storeyed home early today but all were saved in a series ot speetacular loaps from upstairs windows and dramatic rescues by neighbours and Jiremen. An int'ant was drojiped into the arms of an unidentilied milkman wlio left her on the footpath. A nine-year-old boy eseaped serioas injury wlien lie leaped from a window and landed feet lirst in a garbage ean. Firemen reseued seven by ladd«T and neighbours reseued two others by the saine means. Thirteen were sent to hos})ilal, A baby girl and young boy are reported to be in a critical conditiou.
