SABOTAGE ON RAILWAYS

Received Tuesday, 1.5 a.m. PARIS, Dec. 1. The higgest act of sahotage since the heginning of the strike occurred 20 miles from Lyons where torn up lines caused the engilie of the Lyons express to hurtle into a ravine. The engine crew jumped clear and the passengers escaped with slight injuries. The carriages turned over hut did not follow the engine into the ravine. Strikers derailed a goods train near B orete aux hy cutting the rails. The train overtnrned hut none was injured. Strikers forced the driver and fireman from the engine of a train be.tween Franconville and Clermont and immobilised the engine. The police report thar 128 persons, including 28 police, were injured in clashes "between strikers and police at the Loire mining town of St. Etienne.
