Received Tuesday, 10.40 a.m. LONDON, Dec, 1. Ten thousand Arab students, in a demonstration at Beirut, stoned" the United States Information Office and .French Legation as a protest against the United Nations' decision to pariition Palestine, reports Iteuter's Beirut correspondent,. The demonstrators were o£ both sexes and carried fiags and posters inscribed: "Fire and steel is the only language the Zionists understand." The British United Press' Beirut correspondent says that the Syrian Government dissolved the Communist Farty following a clash yesterday in which three Arabs and four Communists were killed. Arabs wrecked the RussianSyrian culture eentre and Communist headquarters in Damascus. There is no confirmation of the New York Times' Damascus correspondent's report that an Arab mob in Damascus killed all the members of the Soviet Union's Legation staff yesterday. The Arab leaders gathered in Damascus are discussing emergency preparations for action, says the Associated Press' Damascus correspondent. The Mufti has been in conference since Saturday with General Tah Hashimi and two members of the committee of the Arab Higher Organisation. Enlistments are mounting in the Arab volunteer force. In Jerusalem and C-airo student proc-essions shouted : "Down with the United Nations. Palestine is for the Arabs."
