HOROWKENUA ELECTRIC POWER BOARD ELECTRICAL RETICULATION LOAN No. 3, 1947— £40,000 NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORQER NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of the Horowhenua Electric Power Board held on 28th day of October, 1947, the following resolution, of which due notice had been given, was passed, viz., "In pursuance and exercise of the Powers vested in it by Section 15 of the Finance Act (No. 2) 1936, the Horowhenua Electric Power Board hereby resolves by way of special Order as follows: — "For the purpose of providing additional moneys for the purpose of further reticulating the Board's District, the Horowhenua Electric Power Board hereby authorise the raising of a loan of Forty Thousand Pounds (£40,000) at 3i per cent. per annum for a period of 20 years. The said Loan or any part thereof, together with interest thereon shall be repaid by equal, aggregate annual or half-yearly instalments over the term of the loan." AND notice is hereby given that the above resolution will be submitted for confirmation at an Ordinary Meeting of the Horowhenua Electric Power Board to be held on 25th day of November, 1947, at the Board's offlce, Bath Street, Levin, at 10.30 a.m. AND further notice is hereby given in accordance with the requirements of Section 15 of the Finance Act (No. 2) 1936, that no moneys shall be borrowed in accordance with the resolution set out above if before the 24th day of November, 1947, not less than 5 per centum of the total ratepayers whose names are inseribed , on the ratepayers rolls of the several constituent dis.tricts within the Horowhenua Electric Powrer Board district by writing under their hands delivered or sent by post to the Office of the Horowhenua Electric Power Bqard at Levin demand that a poll, shall be taken on the proposal.
