Legal action would probably be taken against Ansett Airways if lli.? company refused to increa.se its fares, said oflicials of the f'ivil Aviation J;epartment. The managing director oi Ansett Airways (Mr. R. M. Ansett ) said his iirm would ignore the Department's order to iucrease its fares by 20 per cent. __ The Department on Thursday ordered Ansett Airways to iucrease its rates which are now 20 j>er cent. lower than those of the Government-owned transAustralia Airlines and Australian National Airways on the same routes.
