Mr. C. Sherwood, who has been, indisposed and was unable to attend the borough election campaign meeting last week, is again enjoying normal health. Mr. Sherwood has been re-elected unopposed to the Levin Borough Council, and is not a retiring member a,s was. stated recently. To 11 attend the United Nations Conference on Trade and Employment at Havaua the Minister of Finance (Rt. Hon. Walter Nash) ieft Wellington by plane this afternoon to connect with the PanAmerican Skymaster leaving Whenuapai on Tuesday morning for San Francisco. He will fly from there to Los Ahgeles ahd Mexico City and .will arrive in Havana on Tliursday afternoon.
