Four leaders of tlie inter-zonal blacit market ring, who allegedly plgnned to use their profits to rid Germany of the occupation powers, have been arrested in Weisbaden. The gang oft'ered Military Qqvernment agents disguised. us black marketeers 18 tons of silver bullion for £940,000. They also oflered to sell diamonds and gold and explained that they planned to build up ' an underground government f\ under the guise of a Freq Masqn's Lodge. Tne arrested men were £>r, Hans "Wendenberg, a lawyer and former S.S. sergeant, Dr. Guenther Hauek, former S.S. captain, Paul Wqlf, a former S.S. sergeant, and Freidriqh Herzloff.
