LARGE FAT STOCK ENTRIES AT LEVIN SALE Large yardings of all classes of f at" stock came f orward at the weekly sale in Levin yesterday, but once again there was a marked deficiency in the entries of stores, 'Fat cattle wepe slightly over supplied and prices towaras the end of this section showed an easing tendency. Fat sheep met wilh ready competition at late market rates. The feature of the pig section was a keen demand fqr chOBpers, which sold particularly well. Foliowing" is a range of the prices realised * — Sheep: Prime heavy shorn fat ewes, 28s ld, 28s lQd, 3QS ld; medium shorn wethers, 41s 4d; heavier do., 43s 4d to 44s 7d; prime fat woQlly wethers, 49s lOd, 51s lOd, 54s 4d; prime spring lambs, 3.6s lQd tc 38s 4*d; prime shorp hQggets, 36s 10d to 39s 4d; prime woolly hog^ gets, 42s 4d, 43s lOd to 47s 4d.
