McDONALD MEMORIAL TO THEOCRITUS The winner oi the big handicap at Levin on Saturday was Beau le Havre and the issu'e was never in doubt despite the 10 stone lie was required to carry in a fast run raee. The seeond liorse was Robin's Reward whieh paid less than the £1 for the place dividend. In thij'd place was Howe whieh had been one of the pacemakers throughout. Beau le Havre was never nearer the rails than three out and a t'urlong i'rom liome lie was given two smacks with the whip to nieet the challenge from Robin's Reward, whieh had not enjoycd too good a run to the straight. Beau le Havre responded and won as he liked by two lengths.
