Received Friday, 30 p.m. SYDNEY, Nov. 7. New South Wales has already set India a formidable score to ehase in the game whieh began on the Sydney Cricket Ground today. The State 'a captain, Morris played the star role. With Lukeman he put on 136 for the iirst wicket and then in a second wicket partnership with Moroney, added another 153 runs. He batted Sii minutes for his 162, hit a sixer and14 fours. He had an escape at 89 when he was missed by the wieketkeeper.
